Dedicated to racers everywhere, the trials and tribulations of going racing and trying to earn enough money to keep going racing
Here we are, another yawny morning and the sun hasn't risen yet. Radio full of dire predictions because the US failed to take on City debt. I wouldn't mind if the guys who lost all the money and brought their banks down were sacked - but no, fat payoffs for them. Perhaps the US will put more stringent terms on the bail-out, but don't hold your breath. Could work as a good model for the world, then all the commentators will show what a paragon of virtue rigorous gvernment is. Some hope.
What will it mean for us at the bottom of the pile? Expect our finance will get more costly, and we'll have to pass that on to our customers - which means you pay more for racewear. Sorry, but there it is.
Humph - still getting junk loan spam, one just popped in now while typing.
To brighter things - I've just bought a straight cut gearbox for the racer! Yeah! Now all I need to do is pay for it. Ah well. Shell needs a bit of work, then it's just engine build time. I'm looking for a big valve racing head as well, let me know if you find one.
Busy day at work today, trying to get a new shopping cart live. Long-winded, boring, then proof-read, proof-read, proof-read. Be good when it's finished though.
Back to the grindstone!
