Dedicated to racers everywhere, the trials and tribulations of going racing and trying to earn enough money to keep going racing
Must remember to get the Peugeot radio recoded today. I had an exciting time with that last week...
A few weeks back we lost the blipper key. Our car insurance covers a new key but I didn't get "round to it". Then I had to change the battery, which lost the radio code and set the alarm - only problem was, the "manual" spare key we were using doesn't clear the alarm, so the car was immobile!
Pop into Fussell Wadman - £180 (phew, it's insured) - 10 - 14 days minimum if we can do it at all! Suggest you pop round to Devizes Reclamation and buy a lock set. There, I was relived of £70 and trotted off home. Opened the Haynes manual at the alarm page....only to find that the button on the dash that I always wondered what it did resets the alarm with the manual key! DOH! Got my money back on the locks thankfuly
Not much racing to write about in this blog, it's been a quiet year. Looking back, I wish I hadn't entered Silverstone. The car was woefully under-prepared and it took my eye of the business ball. I can't be surprised it failed miserably. I'll only go racing next year if I can get things done properly, and maybe that'll mean reducing some business commitment. Moves on that afoot, got a meeting about the SKID CAR today.
Half year results for racewear.co.uk produced today - we're up I'm excited to say.
